Commercial Director EMEA
Mark, who leads GPN's EMEA Contract Commercial team has international blue chip FMCG experience which he has used to deliver significant growth for Glanbia Bars & Powders in recent years, including major commercial account wins. Mark is ex-GSK where he worked for over a decade in both London and Sydney as a member of the Sales Leadership Team, where he successfully developed and implemented a customer and brand strategy in a sub-optimal trading environment. Mark's experience of building brands, customer engagement and passion for the business is something that Glanbia Performance Nutrition's existing and new customer's value.
Research & Development
The Research & Development Department is led by Allen Doherty, who has responsibility for launching products within our EMEA region. Allen is an Irish national, with extensive experience of launching new products, managing NPD protocols and technical teams, introducing new manufacturing platforms and working closely with key international stakeholders. He joined the business in 2014 from Nestlé’s Product Technology Centre in Switzerland. Allen manages resourcing across a portfolio of development activities and manufacturing platforms, promoting a professional, credible and valued approach to R&D within our global business and with our key customers.
Gareth is the UK Sales Manager for the EMEA Contract Commercial Team and reports to the EMEA Commercial Director. Gareth has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the business having previously worked as a National Account Manager for some of the largest FMCG businesses in the world such as Unilever and GSK. Leaning on that experience gained by driving distribution of some of the most ubiquitous household brands, Gareth now leads the commercial delivery of all new and existing customer innovations in order to bring tailor-made solutions for many of the industry's leading Sports and Nutrition businesses.
